B232E-REAR WASHER SWITCH STUCK (SCM)

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.
- Set Condition:
The SCM detects the Rear Washer Switch in the STUCK state.

Diagnostic Test
1.INTERMITTENT CONDITIONDoes the Scan Tool read: B232E-REAR WASHER SWITCH STUCK (SCM)?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- The condition that caused the symptom is currently not present. Inspect the related wiring for a possible intermittent condition. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched, or partially broken wires.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST — VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
2.WIPER MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH
Is the resistance in the WASH position correct?
Yes
- Replace the Steering Control Module in accordance with the service information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST — VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
No
- Replace the Multifunction Switch in accordance with the service information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST — VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
