B1411-HFM LEFT AUDIO OUTPUT CIRCUIT LOW

For a complete wiring diagram Refer to Section 8W.

• When Monitored:

  With the ignition on.

• Set Condition:

  The Hands Free Module detects low voltage on the (X703) Left Audio Output circuit.

Diagnostic Test

• Go To 2

• If the DTC is stored, check for an intermittent condition. Visually inspect the related wiring harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals.

• Go To 3

• Repair the (X703) Left Audio Output circuit for an open
• Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST – VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE).

• Repair the (X703) Left Audio Output circuit for short to ground.
• Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST – VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE).

• Go To 4

• Go To 5

• Repair the (X795) Common Audio Output circuit for an open.
• Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST – VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE).

• Repair the (X703) Left Audio Output circuit for a short to the (X795) Common Audio Output circuit.
• Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST – VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE).

• Inspect the wiring and connectors for damage or shorted circuits. If ok, replace and program the Hands Free Module in accordance with the service information.
• Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST – VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE).
